Made in Japan is a short film documenting the Japanese denim mills in Okayama.

From the indigo dyeing and cotton warp yarning, to the weaving and finishing of the cloth the film celebrates the skilled crafts people who are integral to this world renowned denim making process.

We spent 2 weeks in Japan travelling cross country from Tokyo to Okayama the birth place and spiritual home of Japanese denim.

It was a great opportunity for us to gain access and document through photography and film this incredible process.
